Joanna Villa, Surgical Coordinator & Personal Assistant – Joanna is Dr. Samudrala’s Scheduling Coordinator and Personal Assistant. From the initial visit she sits down and walks a patient through what they need to do and what they can expect before and after surgery. Joanna lets them know more about the procedure providing them with a brochure about the surgery so they can take it home and go over it with their family.
Joanna is also responsible for getting authorization for the procedure from the patient’s insurance company and scheduling pre-operative appointments. Patients receive a telephone call the day before surgery to make sure they have everything they need the day of the surgery. Joanna can be reached at 310-423-9485.
